IK Multimedia now allows iRig users to have even more fun with new stompboxes, an improved sound quality, a built-in 4-track recorder and much more! A real bargain!

I cant record with the orange amp....
It is almost like a big rig in your palm hand!
For me it did what it was made for. I can play the guitars with a hell of a good quality. Nothing compared with the real deal, but excelent for practicing. It is a shame it doesnt come with any nice fx. But the pais versio also leaves us in the same stand...
I bot the in apps: Studio, Metal Drum and a stomp in the Iphone App. Why i cant restore this itens in the Ipad App?
All stuff that I had bought were gone after the upgrade. I wont buy anymore.
I lost everything in the ladt upgrade. The iRig doesnt work anymore, the App crashes everytime I try to run it. And I lost the money I had spent on pedals and amps. This upgrade is disonest. They must make the old version available for downgrade or refund who bought stuff prior to the new version.
Doesnt work on iPhone 4.
I know it is a free app. But we have in-app purchases. Need to fix that problem
After the update is no longer working. Iphone 5, iOS 9.2.1
The sound is surprisingly good and the user interface is awesome. A multi effects processor and amp simulation in your pocket - great!
That is pretty much my review. On my opinion, if you really play guitar and is looking for a modulation software, minimum latency, tons of effects, great user interface, then Peaveys one (AmpLink) is the best option. Amplitube has latency, small, but has one, and this happens because the RIG is passive, different from the competitor above mentioned. I have both, and for me Amplitube is for fun only. One remark: please note that the AmpLink gets really expensive when buying all the effects, I did not compare it with Amplitube, I dont know which one is cheaper. But if you are unsure, based on the purpose would buy such app, make sure you get this sorted before. I see no point in discussing all the effects and how the quality is etc..., as you want something professional, you dont use an iPhone for it :-) Cheers
Lots of fun GreAt
Nice app, should offer effects for bass guitars too. And will they EVER offer a retina display icon? Cant be that hard!
i like this app, perfect for training on guitar, a lot of sound options, 5 stars
The App and its functions are great and deserve 5 stars. But you have to rebuy the app separately for iPhone and iPad. Thats not okay.
Very user unfriendly. Almost impossible to get anything to work on iRig. Tried with headphones and speaker with poor results. Sometimes works for no apparent reason, then quits. Frustrating. Makes the iRig kind of useless. Most of the time no sound at all.
I was nervous having to spend 25 bucks for the irig without being able to test the amplitube software first but gave it a shot and love it. Works perfectly and is a great solution living in a condo. I jam away all night without bugging the wife , dogs or neighbors. I love that I can import songs and play along with them and have the ability to change the speed so I can practice tricky parts without getting frustrated. I dont understand those who complain that it doesnt work or that it crashes. Maybe you should check your hardware or read the instructions. Ive installed this on an iPod , iPhone 3 and my iPhone 4. Works every time. Easy. And I paid $7 for the fender gear. What a great deal.
So the device costs $39.95 cdn , but the catch is you have to buy a $20.00 app and judging from the reviews its pretty much the same as the free app,why is it that the free app only gives you 3 delay pedals and 3 noise filters as in quiet down line noise, pretty useless, in returning mine and giving it 2 thumbs way down, next time include the app with the actual hardware like most other companies do, and maybe include all those sound effects , I can easily plug in headphones on my line 6 amp and it has all the effects built in. Pretty useless app.
Great idea, but unfortunately is disappointing on all fronts. Terrible audio quality and mediocre effects. Guitar becomes completely lifeless though the iRig. No sustain, no tone - nothing. As if this werent enough, they charge another $20 just to use their software that should have come with it! Returning it tomorrow.
